Simon Kriechbaum

Simon has spent more than 12 years working with companies in New Zealand, Australia and the UK as a private equity investor, CFO and advisor.  He has significant experience in consumer products, business services, healthcare and freight & logistics.  

Prior to joining the Five V New Zealand team in 2023, Simon spent nearly eight years in private equity in New Zealand and the UK, most recently at Waterman Capital Partners where he was as an Investment Director and before this at Palamon Capital Partners in London. Simon started his career at KPMG Consulting in Auckland.  

He has an MBA from INSEAD, a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Canterbury and is a Chartered Accountant.
