Five V Capital is pleased to announce a strategic equity investment in Agile Energy, a leading Australian commercial and industrial renewable energy platform, alongside the Clean Energy Finance Corporation (CEFC).
This partnership will support Agile Energy as it enters its next phase of growth, scaling to deliver more than 200 MW of solar and battery projects for Australian businesses through long term Power Purchase Agreements.
Agile Energy has already successfully secured over 50 MW of PPA, clean energy assets across the manufacturing, industrial, logistics, aged care, healthcare and property sectors nationwide. With this new investment, the business is positioned to accelerate into new regions and customer portfolios, enabling more organisations to access secure, low cost renewable power without upfront capital expenditure.
As Australia moves further toward a cleaner and more resilient energy system, we see distributed solar and battery solutions playing an increasingly important role. Agile Energy’s proven model, strong customer track record and disciplined execution make it well placed to help drive this transition.
Jack Kapoor, CEO of Agile Energy, said: “This commitment accelerates our mission to make clean energy accessible and financially compelling for Australian businesses. Five V and the CEFC bring not just capital, but deep institutional expertise in scaling sustainable infrastructure. Together, we’ll unlock hundreds of megawatts of rooftop and on-site solar and batteries."
We look forward to supporting the Agile Energy team as they expand their national footprint and continue delivering high quality, data driven and financially compelling renewable energy solutions for Australian businesses.
